Established in 1871 as a porcelain company, Goebel has developed into Europe's largest gift item manufacturer. Since the beginning, it has been all about artistic values and the finest handcrafted Goebel china. Their name represents over 130 years of porcelain history. It’s a name that has always been synonymous with quality and outstanding craftsmanship - Goebel china. It all began with a native of Thuringia with a passion for porcelain, who moved to Upper Franconia to apply his expertise in new surroundings. He developed what was later to become a trademark: a production facility dedicated to the senses. Under the direction of his son Max Louis, artists produced designs that made this company what it is today. See for yourself what sets them apart: the elegant sheen of the surfaces – elevated to an art form by the beautiful shapes underneath. Here, fine porcelain china is more than just a material. It represents tradition and craftsmanship stretching back centuries.<br />
