This functioned really well when it was brand new, but four weeks later the blade began to catch on the peel, and the handle pops off when it does. Basically it’s a razor blade, so it will wear and it can't be sharpened. Mine came with one extra blade which was easy to change. Update - the second blade did not fix the catching problem. Maybe it became dull sitting in the air for 6 weeks or something broke the mechanism. I lowered my rating to two stars. It’s a great idea but poor durability/reliability.
